The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) is offering an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates with an interest in climate issues, to work with the team for six to eight weeks this summer. This internship will be paid the London Living Wage and transport allowance.

The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) is a non-profit working to support informed debate on energy and climate issues in the UK. We work to connect evidence and expertise on climate and energy with opinion-formers and decision-makers in media and politics. We’re looking for an intern to support our work for up to 8 weeks across our energy, international, transport, and land-use programmes. Who are we looking for?
You will be a highly-motivated student or graduate, with a strong interest in climate and energy issues, looking for experience working with the environmental sector. You will bring an interest in/knowledge of UK politics together preferably with some experience of analysing complex information and applying effective communication skills to turn that into concise and simple to communicate content. You will be confident and willing to work in a team, as well as independently, and bring creativity and innovation your work.

We are looking for potential more than experience, offering the role as a learning and development opportunity to kick-start your future career in or around our sector. We welcome applicants from groups currently under-represented in our sector, including: people from a Black, Asian or other minority ethnic background; people from a socially or economically disadvantaged background; people who consider themselves to have a disability.
