Onward is looking for exceptional candidates to join our six-month paid communications and events internship programme. Successful applicants will be exposed to all aspects of Onward’s work: you will help organise events with frontline politicians and world leading experts, and support media campaigns from the outset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Onward’s busy communications and events team. This will typically involve curating our weekly newsletter, organising events with leading ministers and policymakers, generating ideas for future events and supporting our wider political and social media engagement.

Main responsibilities:

Excellent writing skills
Experience in a relevant field and good awareness of British politics
Familiarity with social media desired
Adaptability and a can-do attitude

Salary: London Living Wage

Commitment: Six months

Working pattern: Full-time, based in Westminster with some flexibility around working from home.
