Job Title: Business Development and Programmes Manager

Working For: Glitch

Location: Internet

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000

Length of Contract: Permanent

Job Details

Do you want to be part of a small charity that is striving to end the abuse of women and marginalised people online? Glitch was born out of our frustration and ambition that tech companies and we as citizens can and should do better to create safe, inclusive online spaces. Over the last five years, we’ve worked tirelessly to place women’s online safety and digital citizenship on the map.

At Glitch, we care deeply about our team, and the work we do is focused on three key areas: Awareness, Advocacy and Action. Through workshops, training, reports and programmes, we help equip our community to become the digital citizens we need in the world today. We advocate for an online world that is a safe space for all. Our team is small, but growing, and we have exciting and ambitious plans for the future.

About the role

In this role you will help us achieve our vision by getting our workshops and consultancy services to 10,000 digital citizens and meeting our fundraising targets. You will lead on selling our fantastic workshop programmes, developing our client base, and positioning our services well in tech, campaigning and political spaces, as well as managing the programme delivery.

You’ll need a track record of working in a target driven sales environment, and in seeking new clients and partnerships. You’ll need to be able to communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences; and be an experienced agile project manager.

The role is remote based and is full-time, although we are a flexible employer and happy to consider options around part-time or other types of flexible working. Our benefits include a contributory pension, an employee assistance programme and a commitment to learning and development.

We’re proud of the work we do to create a fairer and more just world. We are a diverse, intersectional organisation and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

Closing Date: 28 September 2023
