UKICE is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated junior scholars who can join our team as
part of our internship programme. We will host up to two paid internships, each lasting
three to six months. The positions are available now and we can facilitate start dates up
to late January 2024.

The emphasis will be on research and presenting research findings in a timely and
accessible way to non-academic audiences. The successful candidate will also gain
experience of working with communications and operations teams and hence of the
workings of an academic think tank more broadly.

Our internship programme is open to both PhD students and researchers who have
completed a postgraduate degree in a relevant social science subject. We are particularly
interested in applicants with a background in British politics and elections, voting
behaviour and public opinion. While our office is based in London, we encourage all
potential applicants throughout the UK to take advantage of this opportunity – virtual
working means we can accommodate interns from further afield.
