Job Details
This is a great opportunity for a communications specialist who has experience building, and implementing, communication strategies that drive meaningful engagement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering these and will have a confident approach to building relationships with stakeholders, and media contacts, to promote our work. Making sure our cause remains high on the national agenda.
We are at a crucial juncture in Holocaust education and remembrance. With living memory fading into history, and antisemitism and Holocaust distortion on the rise, the Holocaust Educational Trust’s work has never been more vital. The Trust is made up of hard working, motivated people who are passionate about our mission to educate every person from every background in the UK about the Holocaust and its contemporary relevance. We believe that the Holocaust must have a permanent place in our nation’s collective memory. We work across the UK, providing a wide range of educational programmes.
Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs, it is expected that the post-holder will divide their time between two key areas: media liaison, about 60% of their time, and online and other communications the remaining 40%, working with our Public Affairs department and wider team.
