About You

Are you looking to develop your career in public affairs? Are you excited by the prospect of representing a much loved, national charity, and campaigning to better the lives of veterans up and down the country?

Do you love the cut and thrust of political campaigning? Building relationships and landing flagship policy changes? Are you excited by the idea of using media, celebrities, or our huge supporter base, to put pressure on political stakeholders?

Are you up for fighting to improve the lives of tens of thousands of wounded, injured and sick veterans?

If all that jumps off the page, you have experience in the political field, whether its campaigning, working for an MP, or within a public affairs agency, then this role could be for you.

About the Role

Ultimately, the role is to develop and execute our public affairs strategies, support, and drive our political engagement plans, and keeping the wider comms & public affairs team abreast of the news and political agenda.

Whilst this is a public affairs specialist role, you’ll be working closely with the wider communications, brand, and clinical recovery teams on various public facing projects and campaigns. Whether that’s supporting public facing campaigns, or developing policies, stories or talking points that cut through media and political noise.
