Reporting to the Media Manager as part of a team of senior media advisers, your specialist brief will be mental health. Working closely with the Director for Mental Health and their senior team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the news agenda on all areas of mental health – a sector which has a huge impact on the quality of people’s lives.
What you will bring…
You’ll ideally have significant experience of working in a national press office. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment, have strong news sense and excellent writing skills.
You will be comfortable and confident briefing and advising senior people and be unafraid to challenge and do things differently.
You will have an eye for detail and be able to identify risks while never losing sight of the bigger picture and your role in ensuring people receive good, safe health and social care.
