Putney/Wimbledon Labour Parties are looking to recruit a Local Organiser in January 2024.

This opening comes at a uniquely exciting time, following the historic election result in May 2022 where Labour took control of Wandsworth Borough Council for the first time in 44 years. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with Putney sitting MP, Fleur Anderson and Wimbledon candidate Eleanor Stringer, our 9 councillors in Putney and 2 in Wimbledon together with the CLP campaign teams to get our message out to Putney and Wimbledon constituencies residents, helping build support for Labour ahead of a future General Election, the 2024 Mayoral & London Assembly elections and the 2026 Council elections.

The successful candidate will have: Knowledge and understanding of the Labour Party organisation at constituency level; Experience of political campaigning; Ability to use digital campaigning tools; and Experience of fundraising.
