Our opportunity

We are looking for an Analyst who has a strong interest in local public affairs to join our Advocacy Local team in London.

Ideal for someone who thrives on engagement with members of the public and who can communicate with people in a clear, concise, and empathetic manner. In this role you will support the team with day- to-day tasks to contribute towards the smooth running of client accounts whilst gaining an insight into what the business does, and the tools used to deliver results for clients.

A few key elements of the role will include producing high-quality research and analysis to build effective strategies and create communications collateral to support the delivery of impactful campaigns. You will also monitor relevant media to develop an understanding of the types of stories being covered by key publications, and actively seek out opportunities for client’s activity reports.

Ideal for you if you:

Have a particular interest and enthusiasm for local and national politics.
Are inquisitive and have a willingness to learn.
Are a competent writer who can deliver first drafts of relevant documents according to briefs provided.
Have strong research skills and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
Have strong organisational and time management skills.
Have some experience in either politics, the media, or the property, energy and infrastructure sectors but not essential.
Have some experience of a public facing role.
