If successful, you will assist with:
- The production of campaign materials, such as leaflets;
- The organisation of campaign days;
- Research and strategy;
- Data entry;
- Volunteer management;
- Social media advice and assistance;
- General administration and the running of Association affairs.
As such, the ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Good attention to detail;
- Highly organised and self-motivated;
- A thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, and IT skills in general.
- A demonstrable knowledge and sympathy for the aims and policies of the Conservative Party.
A number of previous Campaign Interns have gone on to work for senior politicians. Successful applicants can expect to receive on-the-job training, a large amount of responsibility early on, and an inside-perspective on a fascinating time in British political history.
The Kent Conservative Group is the largest Conservative Grouping in the country, covering eight Associations, including: Canterbury, Chatham & Aylesford, Faversham & Mid Kent, Gravesham, Maidstone & Malling, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and the Weald of Kent.
