We are seeking a Senior Adviser to support client teams across a range of policy areas, and to play a crucial role in the delivery of retained political advisory, managing client relationships, and supporting the coordination and delivery of agreed public affairs strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the delivery of public affairs and policy counsel, research projects and delivery of engagement strategies
  • Responsibility for proactively identifying relevant policy and regulatory developments for clients and developing suitable recommendations.
  • To support on the delivery of GK research and political due dilligence projects for private equity clients when required
  • Leading client meetings alongside senior colleagues on project delivery
  • Provide policy advisory to private equity clients and to wider GK offering including Advocacy accounts
  • Supporting the senior leadership on new business initiatives and proactively identifying prospective new business opportunities

  • A demonstrable interest in politics, policy and current affairs
  • A willingness to ‘get stuck in’ to support the delivery of agreed work programmes
  • Two years consultancy, in-house or Parliamentary experience desirable
