This is an exciting opportunity to join Fashion Roundtable and Bath Spa University in a consultancy capacity for 3 x days a week. You will be responsible for assessing, mapping, and monitoring funding bids and leading on opportunities for funding policy work. As well as supporting Fashion Roundtable’s team in conducting high-quality research and reporting as tasked for a range of outputs.

About You

As Bid Lead and Research Adviser, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and high-quality research assigned by the Line Manager. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and monitoring funding bids, as well as identifying opportunities for policy work funding. You will assist in monitoring political, policy, and legislative changes by closely following team briefs. Additionally, you will contribute to various ad hoc projects and initiatives, showcasing your skills in administration, including agenda development, action tracking, and minute-taking.

About the Role 

You will have a first degree or equivalent, coupled with experience in a policy development or regulatory environment. You will possess a solid understanding of Westminster and Whitehall, remaining non-partisan, and demonstrating expertise in mapping, establishing, and leading opportunities for funding policy work. Reporting skills aligned with the Fashion Roundtable brand are crucial, as is knowledge of fashion industry, sustainability, and social justice policy issues. In addition, you will have a keen interest in national and geopolitics related to Fashion Roundtable's work, as well as experience in administration, clear communication, effective interpersonal skills and work well within a team, whilst thriving under pressure.
