Ashley Fox is the prospective parliamentary candidate for the new seat of Bridgwater. He is looking to recruit a campaign intern to support his campaign up to and during the General Election.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience in the world of politics, to develop skills and to build relationships with politicians across Somerset.

You will assist with:

-Organisation of campaign days;

-Production of campaign materials;

-Research and strategy;

-Data entry;

-General administration.

As such, the ideal candidate will have the following skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Good attention to detail;
- Highly organised and self-motivated;
- A thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, and IT skills in general.
- A demonstrable knowledge and sympathy for the aims and policies of the Conservative Party.

The successful applicant can expect to receive on the job training and an inside perspective of British politics as we approach the 2024 General Election.
