Conservative Campaign Headquarters is offering volunteering opportunities to help with specific campaigning, insight and research related projects ahead of the General Election. Because this is a voluntary role the working hours, dates and length of commitment are entirely flexible.

The role would suit bright, motivated and politically astute individuals who are keen to build up their political and campaigns experience and enhance their political CV during a general election year. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to gain entry-level political experience.

Successful applicants would gain experience and exposure to:

Organisation and participation in campaigning activities.
Liaising with and supporting researchers, candidates and advisors.
Inputting to general political output and products.
Political media monitoring and reporting.
Group email box monitoring, and drafting responses.
Data gathering, entry and analysis.
General activities in support of the wider campaign.

Successful candidates will have:

Excellent attention to detail.
Fluent and clear written style.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work independently and flexibly.
A commitment to the Conservative Party.
A keen knowledge and interest in UK politics.
Strong IT skills.
