The office of the Milken Institute is looking for someone excited to work across the Milken Institute’s core pillars of finance, health, strategic philanthropy and international affairs. An ideal candidate would be an energetic, detail-oriented early career professional with excellent organisation and research skills, and with particular interest in public policy, financial innovation, and international affairs. The Senior Associate will also be engaged in helping senior team members build the Institute’s wider presence in the Europe, through stakeholder mapping, topic convening, and keeping up to date on the latest developments across our focus areas.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder mapping and identifying thought leaders across policy, investment, academia and other fields to identify experts to contribute to our thinking on focus areas of research
• Breaking down policy issues into component parts in order to ask focused questions to help identify levers for change as well as hypothesize potential solutions
• Take the lead on project management: keeping stakeholder lists, dependencies, and updating the wider team on progress against project milestones
• Contribute to team thinking on how to eliminate policy barriers, identify new financial models, and identify innovations that can have real impact
• Contribute to drafting project deliverables by synthesizing the team’s findings into impactful messages and helping to craft presentations and reports to convey our thinking to a wider audience
• Contribute thinking to our programming, both in Europe but to our global summits
• Relationship building and supporting our development goals in the region
