Job Details
Steff Aquarone is the new MP for North Norfolk, and this role is designed to help him organise and administer all aspects of his parliamentary and constituency office and business.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead and maintain a highly professional administrative support function for the MP
• Support and manage the recruitment of staff for the MP’s office
• Manage all staff, ensuring accurate personnel records are kept and notifying IPSA of contractual changes
• Overall management and delegation of tasks to other team members as appropriate
• Manage office budgets, keeping the MP informed of relevant financial matters and liaising with IPSA
• Ensure the office is fully equipped and office supplies are maintained
• Liaise with groups/personnel on the MP’s behalf
• Have final sign-off on all relevant delegated areas from the MP, e.g. constituent's correspondence
• Take ownership of certain casework, as required
• Plan the MPs internal communications and external stakeholder engagement, providing strategic advice on constituent matters
• Deal with security matters, keep abreast of security guidance, liaise with external bodies as appropriate
• Conduct parliamentary research, as required
• Help publicise surgeries
• There may be requirement for the role holder to work outside of the normal working hours, including attending events with the MP as required
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Senior Administrator/Office Manager and managing a busy diary
• A genuine interest in helping constituents
• Highly motivated, with a positive can-do attitude and ability to work independently and collectively as part of a small team
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Budget management experience
