This role is ideal for someone who is keen to progress from working in Parliament, the civil service, or a public affairs role. The successful candidate will have some experience working in or around politics or consultancy.

The successful candidate will:

• Draw on their understanding of political trends and government priorities to contribute to company intelligence and develop client advice
• Research, analyse and prepare briefings on policy and key individuals
• Evaluate the impact of public policy changes for clients
• Provide advice to clients in shaping their political outreach
• Contribute to written and verbal reports for clients as needed
• Provide briefings to senior management ahead of external meetings
• Offer advice and recommendations to clients as part of an account team

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in politics, communications, the civil service or public affairs
• Strong political insights and understanding of the government agenda
• Research skills
• Self-motivated and confident to use initiative
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• A high-level understanding of UK politics and current affairs
