Lincoln Jopp MC MP is looking to build a team to support his work on behalf of the constituents of Spelthorne.

This will be a junior role within the Parliamentary team, providing support to the Senior Parliamentary Assistant and MP as needed. The Parliamentary Assistant will be responsible for undertaking casework, diary management and communications support. The post-holder will work alongside the Senior Parliamentary Assistant to help monitor Parliamentary business, looking for opportunities for Lincoln to raise local campaigns and constituency issues in the Chamber. You will help provide briefings, draft Parliamentary questions, and be comfortable and confident with meeting guests and constituents.

This is not a graduate entry role; some prior experience working in or around Westminster is required and this should be clearly evidenced in your application. The position will offer excellent developmental opportunities, from an MP and Senior Parliamentary Assistant who values the contribution of staff, and mentorship and training will be available to the right candidate.
