Job Details
Didcot & Wantage Liberal Democrats are seeking a constituency organiser to work with our local party, councillors and our recently elected MP, Olly Glover.
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to get involved with a growing local party that has had significant electoral success over the last six years. The successful candidate will play a key role in our forthcoming county council election campaign as well as helping our new MP build his profile across the constituency.
Key responsibilties
- To support the delivery of the Constituency Strategy
- To work closely with the MP and General Election Agent to support the MP, his office and staff in his campaigning activities.
- To work closely with County Councillors to support their re-election campaign in May 2025.
- To help District Councillors, local Campaign Teams and local party executive communicate effectively with members and constituents.
- To co-ordinate and oversee the development, implementation and day to day running of campaigning activity across the Didcot & Wantage Constituency.
- To increase the volunteer base.
- To produce a variety of literature and expand the delivery network for their distribution, organise regular door knocking activity and develop online campaigning.
- To liaise and co-ordinate with other Lib Dem organisations outside of the Constituency to achieve shared objectives.
