Our Policy and Public Affairs team exists to engage, inform and influence key decision makers in the UK Government and the health system to ensure the UK remains a global leader in heart and circulatory research, and improve treatment and care for the 7.6 million people living with cardiovascular disease across the UK.

As our Public Affairs Manager you'll play a pivotal role in executing our public affairs strategy, driving policy change in Westminster and forging relationships within Parliament.

You’ll oversee the delivery of compelling influential activity to advance the interests of British Heart Foundation (BHF) in Parliament. Leading our engagement with Parliamentarians, you’ll promote our work with key decision makers, including our current public-facing campaign, Hearts Need More, which aims to make cardiovascular disease a key priority in the upcoming 10-year health plan.

This is an opportunity to make a profound impact for our patients, their families, and our supporters, and you'll play a crucial role in keeping the wider BHF informed about key political announcements and priorities, enabling us to react in a timely and informed fashion to significant Government announcements. Your political insight will be vital in maintaining BHF’s influential presence in a crowded public affairs space.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
