Job Details

We're seeking an accomplished and diligent Conference Research Assistant to join our Editorial team. This multifaceted role entails helping produce conferences on key issues that help move forward thinking for legislators, government, regulators and stakeholders affected by the important issues being discussed. You'll work closely with different areas of our business, demonstrating diplomacy, sensitivity, and a commitment to delivering quality results in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• Researching issues, emerging trends, possible speakers and contacts across the policy landscape to a brief
• Helping make sure conferences are as up-to-date, relevant and inclusive as possible, with no interested parties left out of discussing important developments
• Drafting agendas, invitations to delegates and speakers, and text for our website
• Liaising with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
• Attending and contributing to the smooth operation of our seminars and receptions - online, in Westminster and elsewhere in the UK

About You:

You will need to be a self-starter with focus on moving the organisation of your conferences forward.

• Solid experience in policy, conference production, journalism, public affairs or similar fields

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
