The Office of Joshua Reynolds MP is offering a structured volunteering placement for university students interested in gaining experience in a constituency office.

Volunteers will support a range of tasks including handling correspondence, assisting with casework, helping with community engagement, and conducting research on local issues. This role provides a practical introduction to the work of an MP’s office and how elected representatives support their constituents.

This opportunity is well-suited to university students looking to gain insight into public service and develop relevant workplace skills. Hours are flexible and can be arranged to fit around academic commitments.

The opportunity will be covered by IPSA Volunteer arrangement.

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
