Job Details
From Tuesday 5th to Friday 8th August 2025, Connor Naismith will be hosting successful applicants for a Summer School in his constituency office for 4 days of training and workshops.
This course is aimed at young people wanting to increase their knowledge and understanding of politics: what it’s about, how it affects them, and how to get involved. It will also give young people the chance to gain an insight into public services and how they operate.
Alongside Connor, there will be a range of other speakers working in politics within the community through formal (MPs, councillors and Parties) and informal (charities, unions, community organisers) channels. More information on these guests will be provided in due course.
We will be connecting participants with local voluntary and employment opportunities to further support their development, following the conclusion of the Summer School.
All applicants must be aged 18-24 and a resident of Crewe & Nantwich.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
