Initial full-time 3-month paid contract, with potential to become permanent.
PLMR is pleased to offer market-leading opportunities for consultants, within a multi-award winning, UK Top 50 and World 200 communications consultancy. If you enjoy keeping up with the news agenda and have a proven interest in UK politics, energy, sustainability or food and want to make your mark on the political and media landscape, we encourage you to apply.
PLMR is a leading communications agency in the heart of Westminster, and our purpose is to make a positive and sustainable impact for our clients, our people and society. We pride ourselves on our dynamic, vibrant team, who deliver outstanding results for clients every day. We work across a range of core sectors, including education, health and social care, energy and sustainability, tech, housing, and professional services to deliver public affairs, public relations and digital programmes that play a central role in helping our clients achieve their diverse objectives.
This role will sit within PLMR’s award-winning energy and sustainability practice, providing opportunities to work with clients at the forefront of a changing economy, across a range of sectors and issues covering energy, net zero, food, transport and biodiversity.
As an Intern you will assist the PLMR team in providing high quality servicing to all our clients, and starting your communications career in a dynamic, purpose driven agency. To be successful in this role, it is important that you have knowledge and interest in the media and UK political system, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. A demonstratable interest in energy, sustainability or food sector issues is an advantage but not essential.
You will be well organised, highly motivated and able to work under your own initiative, meeting and driving forward on deadlines and projects. In this role you will gain experience of – and exposure to – all the main disciplines of consultancy life.
Working at PLMR means contributing to a collaborative and inspiring culture where everyone is given the opportunity and support for them to excel, whatever their age or job title.
