The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Kent has an exciting opportunity to join the senior team as our Head of Communications and Strategy.

As Head of Communications and Strategy, you will ensure that effective and creative communications help connect with our communities, building trust and confidence, enabling Matthew to engage with the public, and showcasing delivery of his Police and Crime Plan. You will manage media enquiries and will have experience of building strong constructive relationships with journalists and other key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for developing the OPCC’s strategic approach to all communications and engagement and providing communications advice on a wide range of issues to the PCC, and Senior Leadership Team within the OPCC.
