The Opportunity
Signum Global Advisors, the leading geopolitical risk and macro advisory firm, is looking for a London-based experienced business development professional to drive revenue growth by securing new business from financial services firms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong network, excellent sales acumen, and a deep understanding of how geopolitical risks impact financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new FS clients and expand the existing client base.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers across the banking, asset management, fund management, sovereign wealth fund and hedge fund communities.
- Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that encompass the client’s understanding of geopolitical and macro risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as research and operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of Signum’s events globally.
What we're looking for:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or client relationship management, ideally within geopolitical advisory, risk consultancy, professional services, or financial intelligence.
- Strong network and experience working with the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with the ability to engage senior executives.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in conceiving, developing, and implementing partnerships throughout their full cycles, from deal sourcing, to building business cases, negotiating agreements, driving and tracking results.
