Battersea Labour Party is looking to recruit a Local Organiser to start this September. This opening comes at a uniquely exciting time, following the historic election result in May 2022 where Labour took control of Wandsworth Borough Council for the first time in 44 years, and Labour’s sweeping successes in the 2024 GLA and General Elections. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with the CLP campaign team, our current and selected councillors and our sitting MP, Marsha de Cordova, to get our message out to Battersea residents, helping build support for Labour ahead of the 2026 Council elections.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written skills, be highly organised, capable of producing clear and concise documentation under pressure, have knowledge and understanding of the Labour Party organisation at constituency and local authority levels; experience of political campaigning; and an ability to use digital campaigning tools. This post could be suitable for an application from two people wishing to job share.
