About the role

We have a new opportunity to join the team as our Stakeholder Engagement Lead. The successful candidate will build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll thrive on collaboration, influence, and making a tangible impact on communities and the environment.

In this exciting role, you’ll guide how we engage with regulators, local authorities, environmental groups, and communities to deliver our Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP). This is your opportunity to drive change, foster trust, and ensure we can deliver a near-to-long-term plan that truly delivers for our communities, the environment, and future generations.

To achieve this, you will identify and maintain a stakeholder register throughout planning. This includes leading engagement activities and communications using diverse channels to build partnerships and handle stakeholder queries.

You’ll prepare stakeholder engagement materials for formal consultation and assurance reporting which will identify how stakeholder input influences the DWMP.

Within this role collaboration with the customer research team is key as you’ll ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Therefore, documenting feedback and its impact is key as you’ll provide regular progress updates to the Board for oversight and assurance.
