The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Head of Policy Development. The post-holder will be responsible for managing the party’s policymaking processes and coordinate policy engagement. The role holder will be responsible for coordinating the Labour Party’s policy development and engagement, including proactive policy development, oversight of the National Policy Forum and Annual Conference policy processes, and other priority policy and engagement projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Direct and extensive knowledge of the Labour Party policy making processes
• Experience of developing or negotiating policy development processes
• Experience of working with budgets
• Ability to work in a team framework with other managers and to motivate staff
