The organisation:

An international health and environmental NGO

The role:

To manage and implement the organisation’s EU work in terms of advocacy, campaigning and policy working with colleagues and consultants. With the support of one or more members of staff.

To travel around Europe, often to Brussels to developing with NGO partners and to influence a range of decision makers and the media.

To produce of a range of policy resources, including blogs, briefings and talks based on strong science knowledge.

The candidate:

Has experience in successfully influencing decision-making processes, including working with civil servants, experts and elected politicians with examples of policy change.

Ideally with a scientific or environmental background or at least demonstrate that they can deal with technical issues.

Experience of playing a significant role in a successful campaign and working in coaltions
