Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and self-motivated Content Creator & Presenter for an election-focused podcast. The ideal candidate will not only host and create compelling content but will also be responsible for seeking sponsorships and advertising opportunities to grow the show. This is a remote position.
Podcast Hosting:
- Lead the podcast by hosting discussions, interviews, and debates on election-related topics.
- Provide engaging commentary, research-based insights, and thought-provoking questions to guests.
- Ensure a smooth and professional presentation with clear, concise, and lively delivery.
Content Creation
- Write, research, and develop podcast topics and episode scripts.
- Maintain the tone, branding, and style of the podcast
Sponsorship and Advertising
- Actively seek out sponsorships and advertising partnerships that align with the podcast's theme and target audience.
- Reach out to potential sponsors and negotiate ad placement within episodes.
- Incorporate sponsor messages seamlessly into episodes, ensuring a balance between commercial content and listener experience
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with the production team and guests, ensuring timely episode releases and accurate information.
- Maintain regular communication to track progress, address concerns, and brainstorm ideas for future episodes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Evidence of either experience or aptitude to be a podcast host, content creator, or presenter.
- Knowledge of election-related topics, political processes, and current events.
- Excellent verbal communication and interviewing skills.
- Experience in audio editing, preferably using tools like Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar software.
- Ability to engage listeners and present complex topics in an accessible, engaging way.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively seek out sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
- Passion for politics, elections, and current events.

Interview/Start Dates
Interviews will be held online in the week commencing 28th July 2025. Start date will be in early September (by agreement).
