Job Details
Andy McDonald MP is looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate Caseworker to join his team, working to ensure constituents receive the best possible assistance and support. Based in the Middlesbrough and Thornaby East Constituency Office, and working closely with colleagues, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a real commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives; have some casework, outreach, or engagement experience; be able to handle sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism; and have strong time-management skills.

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

Interview/Start Dates

Shortlisting will take place by Wednesday 6th August.
Interviews will be held in the w/c Monday 11th August.
Prior to the interview, you will be asked to complete a short timed written exercise.
