Join Bacta as our new Communications and Policy Associate – an exciting graduate-level role at the heart of one of Britain’s most dynamic industries.
Bacta is the UK’s leading trade association representing the amusement and land-based low-stake gambling entertainment industry. The income generated by Bacta members helps support Britain’s pubs, sustain the country’s seaside piers, bolster UK tourism and contribute to the regeneration of high street economies. We work at the sharp end of politics and regulation, engaging daily with Ministers, regulators, MPs, councils and the media to champion our members’ interests and to show leadership on safer gambling standards.
We’re looking for someone with:
• A strong interest in politics, public affairs and communications
• Excellent writing, research and organisational skills
• Confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
As a Communications and Policy Associate, you’ll support our campaigns, draft briefings and member updates, help manage media engagement, and assist with high-profile projects. You’ll also play a part in policy development, regulatory engagement and events, giving you a wide range of experience early in your career.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for politics and communications to gain frontline experience in Westminster, Whitehall and the media while making a real impact for businesses and communities nationwide.
