Mike Martin MP and the Tunbridge Wells Lib Dems are looking for an ambitious and experienced campaigner to drive their borough election campaign in May 2026.
This is now a held seat with a well-established campaign infrastructure and a growing team of seasoned campaigners – join us to help us continue to grow!
Key responsibilities
- Project manage the campaign
- Recruit and inspire our growing team of activists
- Produce on-message and persuasive campaign literature
- Coordinate the production and distribution of literature from printers and our campaign HQ
- Organise our ground campaign activity
- Contribute data-driven campaign insights, advice and decisions

You have experience designing and writing high-quality, engaging and well-crafted campaign leaflets and letters that win votes.

Technical experience
Very strong general computer skills with up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good knowledge and familiarity with Lib Dem campaign software, Connect and Affinity Publisher.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience (or a similar level of seniority in their current role) and have line management experience.
In the longer run, there is an opportunity for the role to grow into something bigger, as we prepare for the creation of a new West Kent authority replacing the borough and county councils. Contact us for details if you’re interested to know more about this.
