Marsha de Cordova MP for Battersea is recruiting a full-time Constituency Support Manager for her busy constituency office.

Managing a busy office, the successful candidate will be supporting Marsha in her work delivering for her constituents. Able to lead and motivate a small team. Highly motivated, with sound political judgement and excellent attention to detail.

Core responsibilities include:
• Manage the constituency office, overseeing casework, office administration, office security and constituency events.
• Manage recruitment and development of constituency office staff
• Manage a casework portfolio

Job requirements:
• Previous office management and administrative experience.
• A highly motivated self-starter, with a positive attitude and ability to work collectively and deliver as part of a team
• Be a self-starter, proactively identify problems and resolve them
• Work to a high standard, often under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence interacting with, and advocating on behalf of, people at all levels.
• Prioritise a varied and demanding workload to meet deadlines and with an eye for detail
• Working occasional weekends and evenings.
