Lauder Teacher is a global strategic advisory business focusing on real estate, infrastructure and technology. We provide technical communications and investor relations support to leading clients such as GSA, John Lewis, Schroders, Macquarie, Blackstone, Apache Capital, various REITs and a number of major family offices.

About the Role

This role would suit somebody with at least a couple of years’ corporate media relations experience who has a passion for business, economics, policy and technology. No prior property experience is essential, but a passion for cities and an interest in how housing, logistics and commercial property shape our lives is essential. We offer a fun and dynamic working environment at the heart of Soho with amazing opportunities to work alongside our founders and our 13-strong team of experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic PR and media campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Research and analyse market, media, and policy trends, particularly those shaping the real estate and infrastructure landscape.
  • Support event management and media engagement activities, including press interviews, launches, and roundtables.
  • Contribute to client reporting and campaign evaluation, using data and analytics to measure success and inform strategy.      
  • Person Specification
  • Strong interest in policy, politics, and current affairs, particularly relating to the built environment.
  • Demonstrable experience (agency or in-house) in media relations, PR, or strategic communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting clear and persuasive content.
  • Digitally confident, with experience using media monitoring, data, and research tools.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to interpret and present data effectively is a bonus but not essential.
  • Relevant academic qualifications or professional training in communications, media, or politics are welcomed but not required
