Following Labour’s historic May 2022 victory, our first administration in Wandsworth in 44 years, we’re expanding our team.

In this role, you’ll work with Fleur Anderson MP, collaborate with eight Putney councillors and CLP campaign teams, and deliver our 2026 campaign plan to help secure a second Labour term. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate who can quickly get stuck-in.

Specific responsibilities:

• Work with a range of key stakeholders including MP and Leader of the Council to develop and implement the campaign plan for Putney for the 2026 Wandsworth Council Election.

• Develop and maintain a diary of campaign events, including canvassing and literature distribution. Resolve clashes in consultation with stakeholders.

• Produce regular internal and external communications.

• Support the CLP and councillors to build membership and campaigning structures across Putney and in specific wards.

• Analyse Labour Party and other data sources to help target and monitor the campaign.

• Provide training for members on campaigning activities.

• Organise fundraising events.

• Build relationships with local stakeholders and organisations and help seize opportunities to promote the Council leader and council candidate key messages.

• Ensure the office is well-stocked and be responsible for administrative tasks.

• Administer the CLP’s social media accounts, initially as guided by the Campaign Team.

• Attend General Committees (GC) and Executive Committees (EC) meetings as required.

• Perform related tasks as required.
