Essential

• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with members, high-net-worth donors, and prospects on sensitive topics.
  
  
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills - particularly in persuasive and emotive writing.
  
  
• Strong organisational and time management abilities; capable of running multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  
• A self-starter who can get projects off the ground and maintain momentum independently.
  
  
• Skilled at building relationships across multiple channels - phone, video call, in-person, and email.
  
  
• Strong research and tracking skills; attention to detail in managing donor data and interactions.
  
  
• Technologically confident: familiarity with Google Workspace and CRM systems.
  
  
• Flexibility to work some evenings and travel within the UK, including to conferences and constituency events.
  
  
• Sympathy with the aims and values of the Liberal Democrats.

Desirable

• Experience in major donor fundraising, marketing, or stakeholder engagement.
  
  
• Track record of leading or contributing to successful marketing or fundraising campaigns.
  
  
• Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce databases.
  
  
• Familiarity with PPERA compliance and legacy law processes.
