We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Public Affairs team, who will take part in shaping impactful campaigns, building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting the delivery of strategic political engagement.

About the role

At Cratus, our Account Executives are the glue that hold us together. They are involved in all parts of the business and in almost every project.

Working across local, regional and national public affairs, you will join an enthusiastic team supporting a wide range of clients spanning the built environment and beyond. We work with industry-leading organisations including construction firms, housebuilders, housing associations, councils and more.

Local government is at the heart of what we do. A key part of your role will be helping clients navigate the complexities of councils across the country – from budgets, elections to policy. As devolution reshapes how decisions are made, you’ll also engage with mayors and provide insight into how local priorities connect with national politics.

You’ll contribute to our parliamentary and political engagement, providing insights from Westminster and supporting colleagues with activity across the political spectrum.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or experience of working in the industry. You will need to be a competent writer, able to use your own initiative, and be keen to get stuck into every aspect of a project.

We will need you to be comfortable working independently from an early stage and supporting your colleagues and our clients at conferences and industry events.
