Job Details
Sadik Al-Hassan is looking for a Senior Caseworker to cover a period of absence, ideally starting in January 2026.
The office has effective casework systems and procedures, as well as high expectations and standards in relation to the casework responses provided to constituents.
The Senior Caseworker is a pivotal role within Sadik's team, working closely with the Chief of Staff, and ensuring an overview of all casework, casework SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and customer service.

The key attributes required of a successful applicant are:
- Experience of casework - whether in a parliamentary context, or other sector.
- Excellent organisational skills - able to maintain a proactive oversight of the casework workload at any point, and take ownership of the casework portfolio.
- To be both procedure and detail focussed, to reliably maintain the currently regime of casework audits and checks, which ensures we are responding in a timely way to the the huge numbers of casework coming in.
- Ability to effectively delegate, assign workload and support and mentor team members
- To be alert to more efficient and effective ways of working, and identifying linkages with other projects, workstreams etc
- To be proactive, a self starter and above all a team player - we are a small team and we rely on each other in order to deliver excellent support to the MP and the constituency and to ensure a happy working environment. We take pride in what we do!
- To have excellent customer service and written communication skills, in particular.
- IT literacy - able to manipulate data for reporting and mass communications.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Previous experience of working for an MP, or of relevant systems such as Caseworker software, or PRS would be highly advantageous.
