Re:State is at an exciting juncture. Having firmly established ourselves as go-to thinkers on Whitehall, devolution and health reform, we’re now adding a fourth workstream: welfare reform. We are looking for a brilliant Associate Director to shape, lead and deliver this new programme.

They will have a sophisticated understanding of the social security system, and bold ideas about how to reform it. The successful candidate will be an authoritative voice on the topic, with a history of producing impactful policy papers and influencing key decision makers. They will have a strong political and policy network and be an outstanding communicator.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a strong background in research and policy development and a deep understanding of the welfare system and how it needs to change. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of producing policy analysis and recommendations.
