Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the party’s regional communications strategy, maximising coverage across regional broadcast, print, and social media.
  
  
• Manage and mentor a team of regional media officers across the country.
  
  
• Coordinate messaging on key national and regional campaigns with stakeholders across the party including council leaders and devolved nation communications teams
  
  
• Support MPs, peers, and their teams in generating media coverage from their Parliamentary and constituency work.
  
  
• Manage crisis communications, ensuring timely and effective responses to emerging issues.
  
  
• Oversee communications plans for visits, events, and media opportunities, including those involving the Party Leader.
  
  
• Brief and prepare MPs and peers for media appearances and support media training as required.
