Job Details
The Programme Delivery Lead for Allergy School will develop and steward the Foundation’s national food allergy education programme.
Allergy School provides free resources to nurseries, primary schools and out-of-school clubs to improve understanding of food allergies, which affect around two children in every UK classroom. The programme is growing rapidly, developing new ideas and resources, and expanding into secondary and tertiary education.
The postholder will engage with organisations and institutions to promote and grow the programme, building strong relationships across the education sector. Our ambition is to reach thousands of children, young people, parents/carers and professionals each year.
Job Description
The Programme Delivery Lead for Allergy School will have excellent project management and organisational skills and be able to build strong interpersonal relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and support the development and delivery of Allergy School.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of resources and programme content.
• Develop creative approaches to increase sign-up and participation.
• Share learning and best practice with programme users.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify new partners in secondary and tertiary education.
• Work with senior colleagues to develop strategic partnerships.
• Ensure partners and participants receive regular communications.
• Co-design, organise and deliver allergy awareness training where required.
• Respond to programme queries and support participants.
• Keep website content current and expand FAQs based on feedback.
• Build campaigns to grow the educator and participant network.
• Attend meetings and events to develop new relationships.
Person Specification
Essential
• Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
• Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to large groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the UK.
Desirable
• Project management qualification.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience managing web or social media content.
