We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our Policy and Impact team as a Research Assistant on a 6 Month Fixed Term basis. Reporting to the Research Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a key research project exploring the lived experiences of individuals and their pets who utilise our community support services.

You should be able to offer the following qualities:

• Substantial experience of designing and delivering high quality qualitative research.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to gather, interpret, and present evidence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and concise arguments.
• Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with diverse individuals, especially those in potentially vulnerable situations.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrable passion for companion animal welfare.

This is a full-time, fixed-term (6 months) opportunity requiring occasional remote work and the ability to work flexibly. It is expected that the successful candidate will work approximately 4 days a month from our Godmanchester site.
