Experience in defence is not essential, but an understanding of how international policy, press and Parliament interact to change the narrative, alongside support for the UK Armed Forces, is.

Responsibilities would include:
- Setting the strategic direction for client engagement plans
- Maintaining consistent client, industry and media dialogue
- Direct, develop and deliver integrated Communications campaigns
- Management of team members
- Be a point of contact and strategic counsel to clients
- Overseeing delivery of client engagement plans
- Leadership on urgent issues for clients, both media and political
- Ensure client satisfaction on each account to ensure renewal and account growth
- Management of relevant departmental engagement and stakeholder development

Skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in political and/or media facing roles
- Experience working in UK public and government relations
- Experience working with US and UK companies
- Knowledge of UK Parliament and government
- Knowledge of US politics

The role would suit somebody who is happy to be flexible in their day-to-day duties. From writing briefing documents to chairing meetings between ministers and CEOs, no one is above or below any job at VRM Advisory.
