Apollo Strategic Communications – a fast-growing international communications agency – is seeking an enthusiastic intern with a strong interest in corporate affairs and public policy to support our expanding portfolio of high-profile clients.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a knowledgeable and supportive team, working with an elite roster that includes property and construction companies, firms working in the environmental sector, and international businesses with a global footprint. companies.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent writing skills: a self-starter with the drive and confidence to take initiative and responsibility
• A keen interest in public policy, ideally with an interest in issues impacting the property and construction sectors in particular
• Strong news sense: the ability to balance client demands and expectations with an understanding of what makes a compelling news story
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team, earn client trust, and pitch effectively to journalists
• Experience in helping co-ordinating media and stakeholder events
• A desire to learn how impactful media campaigns are developed, and a willingness to work hard – including occasional out-of-hours work when required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely. Some travel to central London will be required for as occasional in-person events and meetings.

This role would suit a master's student or recent graduate with an interest in public policy or public relations. The paid internship will last three months, with the potential to transition into a longer-term position for the right candidate.
