A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the constituency team of the Rt Hon Stuart Andrew MP, based in Daventry.
This is a varied and fulfilling position involving both constituency and policy work, contributing to local outreach projects, and attending meetings or visits as needed. You’ll work closely with the whole team to provide thorough, proactive, and compassionate support to people across the constituency.
No previous political or Parliamentary experience is needed. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, particularly those with transferable skills, a strong sense of public service, and an interest in supporting their local community.
This role may suit individuals seeking flexible work around other commitments, those returning to work after a career break, or anyone looking for a meaningful change of direction in their professional life.
In this role, you’ll support residents by helping them resolve issues, access public services, and ensure their voices are heard. You’ll join a small, supportive, and experienced team who will provide guidance and development as you grow into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support constituents on a wide range of issues including housing, health, immigration, welfare, planning, and local services
- Triage and respond to correspondence, identifying appropriate support and actions
- Log and manage a varied caseload, ensuring accurate records and data protection compliance
- Contribute to local outreach, community visits, campaigns, and meetings as needed
- Occasional assistance with research, speeches and briefings to support Stuart's Parliamentary duties.
- Occasional work may be required outside of working hours

- A strong sense of public service and desire to achieve positive outcomes for constituents
- Professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- Understanding of the aims and values of the Conservative Party
- Knowledge of the constituency and local issues
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is strongly preferred due to the rural nature of the constituency.
