Job Description:

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll drive our social strategy, pushing our campaign into the spotlight.You'll craft and execute plans that boost our visibility, build an engaged community, and turn followers into campaign advocates across platforms. You'll create content that not only reflects our campaign’s aims but amplifies it, creating a buzz that drives awareness, action and meaningful conversations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms to increase visibility and engagement
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels in line with brand guidelines
  • Monitor social media trends and political developments
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
  • Tracking, analysing & reporting metrics on performance of channels, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the campaign team to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand presence
  • Run social media advertising campaigns and optimise for maximum ROI
  • Manage content calendars, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Stay up to date with best practices, emerging platforms, and social media tools

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role with minimum 2+ years’ experience
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with paid social media campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to generate engaging ideas
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies is a plus
  • A passion for digital marketing, social media and the campaign aims

Desirable

  • Experience with content creation or editing (using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut & Canva)
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and partnerships
  • Social media video production
