About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a keen interest in politics and communications. You’ll gain broad experience across our business, developing skills, networks, and insight into how we deliver impact for clients, including:

  • Communications and marketing
  • Event logistics and management
  • Public affairs and policy engagement
  • New business and agency growth
  • Client handling and member engagement

You will also support the day-to-day running of the Trade Association Forum (TAF), the UK's association for trade associations, for which Inflect provides the secretariat.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting marketing and business development activity for Inflect and clients
  • Delivering digital content across LinkedIn, X and Bluesky
  • Developing newsletters, blogs, presentations and other communications materials
  • Organising and delivering events such as webinars, roundtables, panel discussions and conferences
  • Supporting delegate and sponsorship marketing for our events
  • Monitoring policy and political developments relevant to clients and campaigns
  • Supporting delivery of public affairs activity, including stakeholder mapping, research, briefings, and event prep
  • Providing general administrative and organisational support across teams

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in communications, politics, marketing, public relations or a related field
  • An interest in politics and public affairs, and a desire to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines
  • Familiarity with social media, design and digital marketing trends
  • Experience with video content is advantageous
  • A proactive mindset and a collaborative, team-focused attitude
