Job Details

As an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive, you will:

 Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including national and local politicians, civil servants and journalists, as well as community representatives.

 Build and maintain client relationships, keeping clients informed and updated. This will involve face-to-face and virtual meetings as well as written reports.

 Draft and manage the distribution of a range of written communications materials at pace and to a high standard, such as letters, email campaigns, communications plans, briefing notes, blogs, press releases and newsletters.

 Research, monitor and analyse key developments and trends across UK politics and the wider housing and built environment sector.

 Attend and support the running of client events, including event project management, drafting supporting materials such as briefings, agendas, and minutes.

Essential skills and qualifications – you will:

 Be a graduate with a relevant degree, with a focus on communications, marketing and/or politics.

 Have already gained six-months to two-years’ experience working in an agency.

 Have a demonstrable interest in at least three of the following: the UK political and media landscape; the UK housing sector; the development sector and / or the UK planning environment.

 Have a proven talent for written communications, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt style and tone for different audiences.

 Possess strong IT skills and be proficient working in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project/ Planner, website CMS and CRM systems.

Desirable skills:
 Experience liaising and working with external agencies in a work environment
 Knowledge of, and an interest in, local government and planning
 An interest in multiple sectors including the built environment and housing.
